FCC Licensing

Operation of any public safety/professional/commercial two-way radio requires an FCC license. NorcomCT can provide assistance in all phases of the licensing process. Our customer service and technical teams will work together to prepare and submit FCC applications and filings for new and modified licenses. Additionally, we can provide electronic filing of renewals, notifications and administrative modifications.

FCC Licensing and Radio Programming

Operation of a two-way radio by a user or organization that does not hold the FCC license for that radio frequency requires authorization by the license holder prior to operating a radio on that frequency. In an effort to support compliance with this regulation, NorcomCT requires written authorization from the licensed entity to be presented at the time of programming.

Visit the FCC web site for more information and make electronic filings.
