Zetron

Zetron Paging Systems
Paging infrastructure sets up a wireless paging network through which users send and receive voice, numeric, and alphanumeric pages.
Zetron supplies paging solutions for many applications, ranging from small, private paging systems to large, public paging networks.
An on-site paging system establishes a private paging service to ensure that personnel can be contacted at all times. On-site paging systems are also used for process and procedure management.
The key to Zetron's success is that it has a broad range of products so a system can be configured to precisely meet the budget and need of most paging applications.
A modular architecture ensures that Zetron systems offers cost-effective performance today with an upgrade path for tomorrow's growth, feature enhancements, and technology adaptations.
Zetron Fire Station Alerting
Model 6/26 Fire Station Alerting

Zetron's Fire Station Alerting Systems allow communication centers to efficiently respond to emergencies by managing the assets of multiple fire stations. Public Safety Dispatch Centers can dispatch a piece of fire fighting equipment or ambulance, an entire station, or multiple stations by selecting them from their PC screen or from the push of a few buttons. Visual indications help the operator select which stations should respond, as well as determine which vehicles are available, which have already been dispatched, which are out of service, etc.
Zetron offers a range of communication systems to meet the needs of any size fire department. Zetron's IP Fire Station Alerting (IP FSA) system is ideal for any municipality that has IP links between its central communications center and its fire stations. Using IP to send control commands between the central site and the fire station increases the alerting speed and broadens connectivity options. Since voice announcements are independent of data commands, voice can be configured to go to the IP station units over either IP or radio. IP FSA moves fire dispatch into the IP world without sacrificing features that have worked so well for countless fire departments.
Zetron's M6/26 system communicates over analog links such as leased lines or radio channels. The Model 6 Station Transponder resides in the fire station and provides an audio interface to the station's PA, a data interface to the printer, visual status indicators, and links to the Model 26 Status/Control Panel. The Model 26 provides centralized control of remote fire stations, or, if installed with CAD, the Model 26 can send alerts directly from inputs from CAD.
Zetron's Model 25 is an instant call paging encoder used in airports, fire, and emergency centers to alert pager users. The press of a single button or a signal from a CAD interface initiates the page. The Model 25 automatically controls and selects among up to eight transmitters or frequencies.
Zetron Alarm Monitoring and Control / SCADA

The operation of many industrial, facilities, natural resources, and utilities depends upon equipment and processes that are remotely located.
Zetron's remote monitoring line offers these organizations tools to quickly identify problems and to remotely manage and control equipment and processes. Fortunately, low-cost, high-speed computer and communications technology enables any organization, regardless of size and budget, to automate and centralize the management of the operation.
Since most equipment has monitoring instrumentation, it is straightforward to install an electronic device that collects this information and forwards it over a wireless or wired communications network to a central location.
A person or computer can analyze the information, decide what action to take, and dispatch the appropriate resource to the location. With added intelligence, the remote electronic device or central computer can automate the process by analyzing the information it collects, selecting the appropriate action, and correcting the problem by sending control signals that change the status of the equipment.

Zetron SCADA, telemetry, and alarm processors support the transfer of data over conventional and trunked wireless networks, and wireless, dial-up, and leased-line telephone circuits. Using a wireless network as the transport medium instead of wires is often more economical.
Zetron wireless alarm, monitoring and control systems offer tangible, real savings in traditional hardwired and leased-line applications. It also offers savings in new automation opportunities where hardwired systems are technically or economically impractical.

Pyramid Communications
www.pyramidcomm.com
Pyramid Communications designs and manufactures wireless data and voice transmission equipment. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has made them a lead in the wireless communications industry. All products are tested throughout the manufacturing process to ensure reliable product performance.
The Pyramid Communications model SVR-200 is a microprocessor controlled, synthesized low power vehicular repeater. It is designed to interface between a high power mobile radio and a low power handheld. If the radio operator is out of the vehicle and the mobile radio is receiving a transmission, the SVR-200 will repeat the signal to the user's handheld. The user may also transmit back to the SVR-200 via their handheld, and the transmission will be repeated back to the base by the high power mobile radio, effectively extending the range of the low power handheld. On-board logic, controlled by the microprocessor, ensures that only one (priority) vehicle will become active as the repeater, in the event several vehicles equipped with the SVR-200 arrive at the same scene. The on-board logic can also switch priority vehicles in cases where the priority vehicle leaves the scene (or fails), or another priority vehicle arrives on the scene. For more information on the SVR-2000 in-vehicle repeater or to see other Pyramid Products contact our customer service team.
